A lasting legacy providing versatile solutions
Previous generation ATR aircraft remain excellent value for passenger operations. Thanks to the efficient design of the ATR programme, they continue to possess an enviable seat and trip cost advantage over competing aircraft. With a cabin that offers passengers a comfortable and welcoming environment, airlines can continue to rely on and profit from these aircraft.
Freighter conversions
Legacy ATR aircraft are ideal options for converted freighters. One third of regional cargo aircraft flying today are converted ATRs, totaling 130+ bulk freighters and large cargo door fitted airplanes. Representing excellent value, they offer operators many of the advantages of the ATR programme; such as low fuel burn and high-operational reliability, while its large cross section makes it perfect for carrying bulk freight or unit load devices.
Elegance in the cabin
The ATR-500 benefits from the widest cabin in the turboprop market, providing maximum space and setting a high standard of comfort. The LED technology offers a warm and pleasant atmosphere and the use of a reliable and maintenance free acoustic treatment leads to an average noise level below 80 dBA. Overhead bins can accommodate long items up to 2m (6.5ft).
Truly versatile
With the previous generation of ATR aircraft, unpaved runways are accessible. You can land and take off on surfaces such as: laterite, soil, grass or even gravel thanks to a special protection kit. You can board stretchers in order to perform medical evacuations and much more.
