This new chapter in the enduring partnership between ATR and Binter unfolded during the manufacturer’s 2024 results press conference. At this event, ATR highlighted a significant milestone as we announced the first orders for the replacement of ATR -600 aircraft with state-of-the-art models.

With the remarkable efficiency of the PW127XT engines, uniquely optimised for ATR’s turboprops, we are embracing new standards in fuel consumption, CO2 emissions, and operating costs, setting a benchmark for responsible aviation practices.”
With a fleet of 26 ATR 72-600, Binter plays a crucial role in facilitating travel for over 5 million passengers annually, operating around 210 daily flights that intricately connect the picturesque Canary archipelago. Functioning as a lifeline for the local communities, Binter’s turboprops serve as more than just means of transportation—they represent a vital link that enables seamless travel and trade between islands, fostering economic growth and social cohesion.
Since the momentous delivery of its first ATR 72-200 back in 1989, Binter has continuously demonstrated a commitment to providing efficient and comfortable air travel services from its primary hub in Gran Canaria.
By incorporating the latest PW127XT engines in its fleet, Binter not only enhances operational efficiency but also reiterates its dedication to low-emission aviation, without compromising on comfort and reliability for its communities.
